Before I started with Javier, I felt hopeless. I thought I was going to have back pain for the rest of my life. I've never had a personal trainer before so I didn't know what to expect but Javier started showing me muscles that I could use differently and the proper form to exercise. Masters Class

A CrossFit class designed for people in their 60s and 70s.

Each class is designed with an aspiration to help people ski when they're 80, bike ride when they're 90 and hike when they're 100.  This class is for people who are planning on getting better with age and want to continue to see what's possible for themselves. Every training day is different and each session will make us a little bit better.

We train Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am-9am.

I was out of shape, in poor physical condition and it was affecting my mental state. When I left my very first class I felt exhilarated! I loved how I felt immediately, and couldn't wait for the next one. I knew I was on a path to feeling better and better. Just knowing that I am consistently working to become stronger and healthier improves my mood and my confidence dramatically. My body is feeling healthier, and I am feeling stronger all the time. I look forward to every class.

Training with Javier has been hard work but enjoyable at the same time. After the first few months it became apparent that my flexibility, mobility, and strength have improved. Bulletproof

A group class for those who want to make their knees, shoulders, back and hips better so they can enjoy working out.

Bulletproof is a group class that is designed for people with minor joint pain and are avoiding certain movements like running and pressing overhead.

Every class starts with 15 minutes of individual stretches and exercises and then as a group we do exercises that are intended to support the body. This class is not a traditional workout, we likely won't sweat or breath heavy but we will care for our body so we can take the next workout better.

We train Mondays at 6:30pm and Thursdays at 8am.

I had chronic knee pain in both knees and occasional lower back flare ups.  These things often kept me from doing my normal athletic activities for weeks. Javier has a different approach to pain than anyone I had worked with before. After a few months of trusting him and the process I am now able to squat my body weight for reps pain free! As far as my back, that is still a work in progress however I do feel that Javier's training has really strengthened my core and I feel more confident in doing movements that I used to avoid. I enjoy working out again and doing outdoor activities without knee pain.

Before starting Bulletproof I would just avoid doing the tasks that required more range of motion or balance. Upon taking the first class, I realized how beneficial it was to target shoulders or hips specifically. And to take my time to work through the movements. My range of motion and balance are improving each week and I now have a baseline to improve further. Javier is patient, non judgmental, works with your limitations and is very encouraging.
